Lana - Co-Founder and Creative Director

Hello, I’m Lana.
My love of stories began early — sparked not only by books, but by theatre and the performing arts. I was proud to achieve Distinction in both Grade 8 Singing and Grade 8 Acting with London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

Despite being dyslexic, I went on to earn a degree in English Literature from Royal Holloway, University of London — an experience that deepened my belief in the transformative power of storytelling.

Stories shape us. They invite us to see through new eyes, to step into unfamiliar worlds and eras, and to experience emotions that expand our understanding of ourselves and others. I am passionate about the role books and storytelling play in inspiring curiosity, empathy and confidence.

As a mother of three, I have seen first-hand how powerful stories can be in a child’s life. Through expressive, imaginative teaching, I have delighted in watching the children in my classes grow in confidence and enthusiastically engage with songs, stories and carefully crafted resources. High-quality vocabulary, educational richness and confidence-building experiences are at the heart of everything I create.

I am thrilled to be Creative Director at Storybook Studios and look forward to bringing even more exceptional, inspiring classes to children and families.
